Born from the merging of a professional cycling team (team Belkin) and a professional speed skating team, Lotto NL-Jumbo is a new innovative sport project which revolves around sharing knowledge, and the combining of efforts for a visibility 365 days a year. The aim is to inspire a new generation of athletes and fans, in Holland and around the world.
Sep Vanmarcke, the team leader, together with a group of cycling talents like Robert Gesink, Wilco Kelderman, Laurens ten Dam, Steven Kruijswijk and Moreno Hofland will do their best to achieve results, give visibility to the team and make their fans enjoy every race.
With their incredibly visible and recognizable yellow and black kit, nothing will stop them from winning!
Regardless of whether they’re on the road, the velodrome or a BMX track, the power of the all-conquering Australian national team will always end up in the mix, winning almost everything that’s there to be won.
They’re an incredible team who have consistently produced champions who move on to world-beating careers in the professional ranks, with proteges such as Cadel Evans and Anna Meares leaving little doubt that they are one of the most powerful national teams in cycling.
The Australian National Team habitually leave every championship loaded with medals. Their secret formula, which we at Santini are very happy to be a part of, lies in their search for excellence in the fine detail and in the hard work done to achieve that excellence.
We have been proud partners with the Australian National Team for more than 10 years now, and our research department developed the iconic national colours skin-suit that’s been worn by winners of many big races on the track and the road. We love these guys and feel very happy to continue supporting them in their world-conquering endeavours.
There are few track cyclists who’ve come close to the championship-winning accomplishments of Australian Anna Meares. She’s an Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze medallist, a five time World Champion, Commonwealth Games Gold, Silver and Bronze medallist, a World, Olympic, Commonwealth and National record holder, and without doubt one of the best sprint, keirin and 500-metre time trial riders of all time.
In her school years Anna worked her way through sports such as karate, BMX, triathlon, tennis and swimming before watching the 1994 Commonwealth Games track cycling on TV. She joined a cycling club and became hooked, with her parents driving 300km each way to weekend races with Anna and her sister Kerrie. By the age of 16, Anna had received a Queensland Academy of Sport and Australian Institute of Sport scholarship and had gone to live and train in Adelaide. In 2000 she represented Australia in her first international race meet at the Junior World Titles in Italy, and followed this up in 2001 in the USA where she won the Junior World Title in the 500m Time Trial.
The rest, as they say, is history. In 2003 Anna won a silver medal in the world Keirin championship, in 2004 she won gold in the 500m Time Trial and in the Athens Olympics, at the age of 20, became the youngest Australian female track cyclist to win Gold, breaking the World and Olympic record at the same time. More World titles have followed, including a triple gold – a feat only equalled by one other woman, Victoria Pendleton – and we at Santini are totally committed to our continued partnership with Anna.

Born at the end of September 2014, Team De Rosa Santini, is a group of amateurs riders with an incredible passion for cycling, that train together to compete in the Granfondo circuit. “De Rosa has always believed in road cycling in all its forms – says Cristiano De Rosa – and the world of Granfondo lovers is extremely important for our company, because from those athletes we receive ideas and we collect important feedbacks.”
Paola Santini agrees with Cristiano’s line of thought. ” Our company has always been linked to the world of professional cycling , from which we draw inspiration to design and develop our products , but amateur cyclists are those to whom these products are dedicated. Thede people put the mind, legs , but especially their heart, in each pedal stroke . The choice to have our own Granfondo, the Granfondo Stelvio Santini, in its fourth year in 2015, and and to sponsor this team fully embraces this philosophy. Cycling is hard work, sweat , technique, but for an amateur is first of all passion . The same is true for us. We invest in new technologies every year and the reason why we do it is the same: the deep passion for this sport.” The partnership Santini – De Rosa comes from a deep and mutual respect and from a total sharing of values and mission.
There’s a strong feminine focus in the team, headed up by captain Olga Cappiello, winner of 28 marathon races over the past two seasons. Climber Roberto Napolitano will captain the men’s outfit, and both captains have loyal support from riders who have shown superb promise to earn their places in the team. The De Rosa – Santini riders will use the De Rosa Protos and King XS frames, with FSA and Vision components and Selle San Marco saddles and will wear our new Santini Sleek 2.0 Collection. Early in 2015 the team decided to extend their interest in other sports opening the De Rosa-Santini Triathlon team and the IRV Santini Trail Running team. “Cycling, triathlon and running are disciplines that have in common an endurance effort, therefore the athletes’ clothing must maintain performance at every stage of the race – says Paola Santini – starting from the first strokes while swimming, to the run and on the bike where we are naturally at home. ” The 2015 Santini collections offers new pieces for triathlon and running and the partnership with Team De Rosa Santini and the IRV Santini Trail Running team will be an extraordinary opportunity to get feedbacks and improve the range.

Team Cinelli Chrome is something unusual in today’s world of cycling. As they love to say:
“We are not team Sky, we are not Lampre , we are not Cannondale.
We are the mouthpiece of a different and independent cycling. Muscular and creative. We’re not just a team that wants to win, we are a new style of riding. Sincere, desirable, aspirational, competitive. As the sponsor that we are looking for. Who choose to put his name on our jerseys, choose a philosophy, a movement, an attitude.
Transverse to the new urban landscapes and creative movements and those who see the bicycle as a way of communication. We do not want too many sponsors on our jerseys. We want just a few. But greats.
Track bike only, fixed-gear, brakeless.
No freewheel, no stops.
Eyes on the course, 180 degrees turns, if you can’t hold the wheel you’re lost.
This is Team Cinelli Chrome.
Different from all the others, living ciclism unconventionally.
No pro-director, masseurs or official mechanics.
An independent and organized posse, perfectly self-sufficient, total autonomy travelers.
It takes shape when needed, blends into the urban fabric when not.
A handful of characters borrowed from the rising city: bike messengers, track champions, creatives and former Pro Tour adepti.
This is Team Cinelli Chrome.”
This is the philosophy of who really love the two-wheels, and here at Santini we feel exactly the same. And this is the reason why we are in deep collaboration with Team Cinelli Chrome, supporting them with our garments, to help them being a step forward also with their equipment.

Committed to developing their involvement in the sport, Santini are delighted to agree the exclusive sponsorship of professional triathlete Leanda Cave, a true talent of the sport. Since 2002, after taking home gold in the ITU World Championships in Mexico, Leanda Cave approached increasingly longer distance disciplines to eventually achieve the incredible result in 2012 of winning the Ironman World Championships 70.3 in Las Vegas then further success in Kona by winning the Ironman Triathlon World Championship, making Leanda the only woman to have won the two titles in the same year.
Leanda races in her Santini SLEEK 2.0 trisuit the company has customised with a special design using Leanda’s brand colours.“I absolutely adore my new custom race kit by Santini. The fit, the design, and the fabric are all of the highest quality. I have been racing for many years in so many different brands, and I can honestly say that Santini SMS is absolutely THE BEST and I am proud to be one of their sponsored athletes”, commented Leanda.
Leanda Cave, the first female triathlete to have won both the Ironman Full Distance and 70.3 World Championships in the same year, has launched an all-woman triathlon team that will involve selecting a group of highly-motivated women from various backgrounds.
Through Team Leanda Cave (TEAM LC), sixteen (16) athletes/ambassadors will be selected to embark on a training program and receive the kind of support that only being part of a close-knit team can deliver. When the launch of TEAM LC was announced, online entries were coming in at such a rapid pace that the application process had to be shut down after a week. With the overwhelming and enthusiastic entries, TEAM LC is well on its way to empower women through triathlon.
The project is backed by the Leanda Cave Foundation and the triathlete’s own sponsors, including Santini who will be supplying racing and training tri-kits, as well as their new line of bathing suits. Santini has pledged to invest in this initiative which it fully endorses. “Triathlons are attracting a growing number of female athletes, and we at Santini want to take a leading role in Team LC and provide the right tools to make this a success and promote women’s’ growth in triathlon.” Says Paola Santini, Marketing Manager.TEAM LC is supported by sponsors, including Santini, raising funds through online product auctions and direct donations. The clothing made specifically by Santini for TEAM LC will also be available from our online store with proceeds going to the Leanda Cave Foundation.
Even in her school days, Jenny Fletcher was taking part in tetrathlon, a mix of running, swimming, pistol shooting and cross-country horse jumping. At 15 she was discovered by an international modelling agency, not only adapting quickly to that industry’s fast-paced lifestyle but balancing it with her dream of competing at world level in modern pentathlon. Just months later, at 16, she took part in both the Junior and Senior World Championships.
Jenny eventually settled in New York, where she lived for 10 years. During that time she became a self-confessed gym junkie, running the New York City Marathon and eventually realising her potent passion for triathlon. She quickly became hooked and is now in her ninth year of racing.
Jenny sums up her approach as: “Life, dreaming, believing, striving, achieving, all of these things bring life to life. I’m not a sitter who contemplates life. I love to live it, and I live it large. Breathe deep, smile big, laugh hard, cry even harder… I love to feel. I love to live my dreams and all the highs and lows that come with them.”
After achieving many top results, even in her first year as a professional, Jenny’s first – and convincing – pro triathlon victory was at the 2012 Ironman 70.3 Branson. She now looks set to go from strength to strength, and we at Santini feel honoured to be able to support Jenny’s powerful passion and efforts.
