The Androni Giocattoli team, is one of the most interesting and famous Italian road cycling teams of the moment. The team has a license as Professional Continental Team, allowing it to participate to all the races of the UCI continental calendar. Thanks to the UCI Wildcards, it has the chance to be admitted to some of the events of the UCI World calendar.

The first sponsor of the team, Androni Giocattoli, is an Italian producer of plastic toys. Previously, sponsors of the team were Selle Italia, producer of saddles and Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni, producer of PVC  shutters. 

 The central figure of the team has always been Gianni Savio, well known to the cycling world for his talent in organizing a team and discovering new talents such as the Colombian Josè Serpa and the Venezuelan Josè Rujano.
