Nice glove for cool summer days on my gravel bike

I use this gloves not for mountainbiking, but with my gravel bike. I wear them on cooler summer days or in springtime/autumn to keep my hands from getting cold. The material seems quite strong and I like the fact that these gloves have a slight padding on the palm; not too thick, and not too thin, just right. The gloves have a sleek design and are not bulky at all, although they are MTB-Gloves. The cuffs are quite short which makes them good for riding in warmer temperatures.
Well, the gloves are called MTB-Gloves and if you think of classic, endurance-based MTB-riding with not too heavy offroad-use, they are really suitable for it.
But I think they are not intended for harder MTB-uses like downhill, or serious off-the-path riding, since they have no protectors on the upper side of the fingers and on the upper side oft he hand (for protection against branches, rocks etc.).
Sizing: I find this gloves to run a little small. According to Santinis sizing chart, I had to choose size L with my hand circumference of 20,2 cm. But in that size the gloves where too tight, finally I sized up to XL and now they fit fine.
