Perfect fit

XL fits me (186/80) nicely. Legs stay where they should and don´t move up while rolling. As promised. Very good value.

Different bibs - the best of Santini

Santini makes a lot of bib shorts. I ride in their Gara model as well as the Bcool. All my Santini bibs hold up well to a few thousand miles of riding. The Redux feel a bit more compressive than normal. Meaning, the material is tighter than the Bcool for example. But not in a bad way. They feel like compression garments, not just proper-fitting kit. The gripper area (the part at the bottom that's lined with these little silicone dots) is huge. The bibs simply do not move once I get them on and pull the legs into the position I want them. The shoulder straps are wide and flat (they don't dig into my shoulders like some do). And they come together just below the shoulders on the back which holds them in place really well. The chamois is different from my other bibs though. It's blue and dimpled like a golf ball. And has a cup shape at the front to fit your, well, let's just say that I didn't understand the extra shape at first but now I've ridden with the chamois, I am convinced its the best one Santini has ever made. It's light, it doesn't get hot or damp (like the old Twist-gel chamois used to). They are one of the more expensive bibs but I ride a lot of miles and they're worth the money (and half the cost of a couple of other brands I've owned that are no better for double the price).
